Good things can come in small packages. At Atelier Ariana, a small cafe tucked away in Carroll Gardens, everything we got was high-quality. The roule au chèvre was perfectly buttery and flaky, with the right amount of goat cheesy so as not to be overpowering. The double chocolate cupcake was not too sweet (which you know is a high compliment). The cinnamon frosting added moisture and a chocolate mousse like consistency to the cupcake which elevated it significantly in flavor. The small but mighty marble tea cake was great. Perfect texture and flavor.
