Sooooo many new things at @kawsarsweethouse with new Ramadan drops! They are known for their small batches of mishti which you get sold out really fast. If you’re lucky enough to catch them, I highly recommend the Irani chamcham. This is mostly a to-go place with limited seating. Hot items: Samosa chaat, Tandoori momo/chaat, Beef or Chicken Empanadas, Mirpur Chaap, Chicken Boti, Hot cocoa with marshmallow, heated cookies Cold Drinks: Taro milkshake, Thai tea boba, Taro boba, Mohabbat ka sherbet (really good), Taro matcha, Watermelon mojito, Dilbar ajwa drink New mishti: Bacha jilabi, malai toast, malai chop, labongo, lancha, shahi irani Mishti infused ice cream service 🍨 All items are halal. Momo meat products are by hand. Empanada meat method of slaughter is not confirmed. Kawsar Sweet House 📍78-06 101st Ave, Ozone Park, NY 11416 #halal #nyc #ozonepark #nyc #halalcafe

If you’re looking for a fast-grab hibachi plate that’s decently priced for the amount of food you’re getting, I recommend trying Hibachi Bites. You can select from chicken, steak, shrimp, lobster, or combo it up. They will ask how you would like your steak done too. Fried rice and lo mein swaps are at an additional charge (white rice is the default). They have lots of Japanese appetizers and sushi. Wasn’t crazy about the sushi. There are tables where you can dine but it’s counter service and acts more as a take-out/delivery spot. All the meats are by halal. The chicken is by hand. @THICK & THIN PIZZA serves both Detroit-style and Romana-style pizzas made of sourdough bread. They also do pizza sandwiches, pastas, and more Italian dishes! 🍝 They are 100% halal and have a wonderful European-bistro style ambiance, that is super lovely! The Detroit-style pizzas can be served in different sizes and are very pillowy, but the Roman style has a lot more variety in terms of toppings. All meats are halal by hand. Came across this food truck downtown and needed to try a few things. Small and simple menu. Had it for iftar. Everything was good and tasted just as expected. Up to par with other places I’ve visited. Sadly they had just ran out of laghman which is what I really wanted to try but I’ll come back some other time. They said they get their meats from a halal butcher in Brooklyn. Tashkent Chaykhana Express 📍180 Water St, New York, NY 10038 (non-collab / we paid) #halal #nyc #manhattan #halalfood #uzbekfood
Koyaki just opened up and serves terrific Asian-inspired bowls in chicken, steak, or vegetarian with bases in rice, soba noodles, or veggies in a fast-casual setting. You can order with kiosk or with cashier. It’s very flavorful and good for the price. Chicken bowl is $12 and the steak is +$3 more. Do wish there was a little more rice in the bowl to help even out the intensity of the sauces. All meat is halal by hand. @krunchykrust is a completely halal pizzeria using only hand slaughtered meats. Their pizza is more like D0minoes style without the haram and support for the occupation (duh). The dough is cold fermented for three days and the pizza sauce is made fresh daily. Not only do they have pizza, but they also do pasta bread bowls, wings, tenders (especially made in house), smash burgers, and lava cake. Prices range from $8 to $26 with pie sizes of 10”, 12”, 14”, and 18”. Krunchy Krust 📍221-15 Linden Blvd, Cambria Heights, NY 11411 #halal #pizza #nyc #queens #halalfood
@Pookie Bakery brought the viral cookie tins to Coney Island Ave (and keeps it all halal). 🍪 They’re located inside Gyro Cafe and you can find single cookies, cookie tins, cookies with soft serve, and milkshakes here made fresh daily. I would recommend calling them first to see if they have in stock before visiting or placing an order through the phone. @Samrah brings a minimalist take to the cafe scene on Steinway St with specialty coffee as well as a few seasonal drinks with syrups that they make in-house. Their kunefe is available usually more towards the afternoon time (after 3pm) and you can get them made to order in various sizes either in Nablusi soft style or crunchy Kishneh style. If you like HeyTea drinks, you will really like the Mua-Cha that is made with mango puree, coconut soaked sticky rice, and matcha foam on top. No they do not sell Yemeni tea/coffee lol Samrah Coffee 📍24-09 Steinway St, Astoria, NY 11103 #halal #cafe #coffee #nyc #kunefe
@Qahwah Time NY provides a cozy cafe space in Downtown Brooklyn with a variety of options for food from sweet to savory. Their coffee and tea is sourced directly from Yemen and you can get the classics from Adeni chai to Sana’ani, Mofawar, and Jubeni style coffee. The meats from the sandwiches are 100% halal. WE OUSSIDE THIS SUMMER????!! 🔥 Props to the new, much needed venture from the team at @BIRRIA LES building an empire for the halal community. It legitimately felt unbelievable to sit down and have halal Texas / Southern barbecue here in NYC with all the fixings. It is no longer a flight away. Wishing you much success on this @astoriabbqnyc. All meat is by hand. Astoria BBQ 📍21-76 31st St, Astoria, NY 11105 #halal #bbq #southernbbq #nyc #texasbbq

Did I really go outside to shoot this chopped cheese in the rain? Yes I did!! @zabihaburgerandfries is a no-frills spot but their food is prepared all fresh and made on order, which I think totally separates them from a lot of these places that offer similar items. The food of course is all halal and you can get 10% off your order by showing this video for the entirely of Ramadan. Meat is all by hand. Possibly Brooklyn’s newest, hottest #halal restaurant of the year? 🤔 It’s up there. We were very impressed. #brooklyn #food #newrestaurant #brightonbeach #brooklynhalal #halalfood #halalrestaurants #nyc #foodie #delicious #uzbek #fancy #familyfriendly

Came across this new halal Yemeni joint with great Google reviews and knew we needed to stop by. ✅ This food is a little different from what we’ve experienced in previous Yemeni restaurants. We do feel that across the board, what we got needed more salt, but luckily there were salt shakers provided on the table. Other than the food needing a quick fix, we thought it was decent. Our full, official review will be on our website (which is undergoing renovations at the moment). Chicken is hand-slaughtered. @Lava Rock Kitchen is out here providing QUALITY Italian food and all meat is 100% halal certified with only halal ingredients. This is a Muslim-owned establishment. I know it’s not a central location, but it’s definitely worth the trek. The food is very good and I hope everyone can have the same experience cuz truly this place is a gem. All I feel I really need to say is: IYKYK Modoo was the OG halal Korean spot in NYC. Though quite the trek, as it’s not near any subway lines, they still are packed out on weekend evenings. My sister and I love love love the food here and we always order the Gold Tangy chicken. I do recommend taking advantage of their lunch specials which are from Mon-Fri from 12PM - 2:30PM (excluding holidays) for dine-in only. All the ingredients and meat is halal. Chicken is by hand. They do serve alcohol. The DRAMAAAAA?!?! 😍 I’ve been closely following Musaafer’s opening in NYC (originally hailing from Houston) and have utterly fallen in love with their interior design and ambiance. It’s breathtaking, it’s dramatic, and obviously, *very* upscale. I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the food in a separate highlight video. Safe to say, majority of it was good, and yes, it is expensive. They’ve earned a Michelin star for their Houston location. All the meats are by hand. There’s only one dessert dish that has alcohol and that’s the Coorg. Other than that, all other dishes are safe. There is alcohol/bar and a speakeasy downstairs separate from the main dining area. Musaafer 📍133 Duane St, New York, NY 10013 #halal #nyc #indianrestaurant #musaafer #halalrestaurant
Let it be known, I don’t like to pick favorites or let it be known in the very least. But when something is so good, the flowers deserve to be given. From the quality, the taste, the service- it really makes the spot a promising contender in the Yemeni restaurant space in NYC. I did take a look at the price points to really see if it was out of the ordinary, and it’s not. @akramcooks you did such an amazing job and the precision and care for quality is evident in your food. Really sad that residency is short term but may Allah seriously grant barakah in all your endeavors. Very grateful for everything, thank you. 🙏🏽 Chicken is machine cut. @Yemenat 📍7721 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209 #halal #brooklyn #yemenifood #nyc #halalrestaurant #nychalal #nyceeeeeats #halaleats #yemenirestaurant #akramcooks #halalfood #halalfoodnyc #halalrestaurants #lambhaneeth #traditional #authentic #bayridge #brooklynfoodie #brooklyneats #nycbucketlist #nychitlist #halalblog #halalfoodblog #halalblogger #muslimfoodies
Impressed is an understatement. And I know I can’t really base this off of anything or compare it as halal ramen didn’t exist here, but truly, this is something that I can’t wait to come back to. And as always, I’m only speaking from my experience. These videos can be interpreted as hype to some but I don’t post things if they weren’t worth it to me. :) The ramen here is very good and worth the price. The Chicken Miso ramen was my favorite and the Shabu Shabu Beef is a second contender. Don’t sleep on the spicy tuna onigiri either. They also use good quality ramen. The ambiance adds to the experience as well. It’s legit a ramen bar. Just please be patient with receiving your food as it’s a smaller kitchen. While this was a collaboration, I plan to come back as a paying customer over and over in the future inshaAllah. Thanks so much for existing and for bringing halal, authentic Japanese ramen to NYC @Oodles.nyc. I know a lot of people have been waiting for this. 🤲🏽 All the meats are halal by hand. All ingredients used are halal. Oodles 📍1298 Myrtle Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11221 #halal #ramenlover #halaramen #japanesefood #nyc
