One thing about me… I’m always going to show up for Dominican-owned businesses. 🇩🇴❤️ I finally checked out Dulce by El Sazón in the Lower East Side and I love seeing our traditional dishes elevated while still keeping those flavors that remind you of home. A few favorites: ✨ Guavaberry Cocktail ✨ Yaroa Poppy ✨ Pescado Boca Chica (my MUST order 🤤) ✨ Tres Leches (one of the best I’ve had at a sit-down restaurant!) The Pescado Boca Chica instantly transported me back to DR. Crispy, flaky, packed with flavor, and those batata fritas were the perfect side. And don’t even think about skipping dessert—the tres leches tasted fresh, homemade, and had the perfect milk-to-cake ratio.
