If Japanese milk bread and a croissant had a baby… this would be it 🧈🥐 This spot just opened in the East Village, serving up ultra-addictive salt bread with a crisp golden crust, soft buttery center, and that perfect hint of salt. This humble roll started in a neighborhood bakery Pain Maison in the Ehime Prefecture in Japan. They took the same recipe and brought it all the way here to NYC. The shop is from the same team behind Okiboru, so you already know the quality is there. You can grab a bag of 3 for $12 (comes with cream for dipping, but it’s honestly perfect on its own). Don’t sleep on the drinks either - the salted matcha latte and salted coffee with cold foam and Himalayan sea salt are chef’s kiss 😋 Sweet, salty, buttery… consider me obsessed. 📍 Justin’s Salt Bread, East Village #saltbread #nycdesserts #japanesefood #nycfood #eastvillage
