Personally I’m not much of a matcha connoisseur, but I love the occasional cup now and then. Finally made it out to 12 Matcha which has had insane lines since they opened. Managed to pop in on a weekday morning (~10 AM) with no line. Overall - I actually loved it! Their menu is simple, and the matcha didn’t taste too watered down to me. The basque cheesecake was super creamy and rich of matcha flavor, and I’ve heard good things about their ice cream too. The interior design is quite pretty, and there’s decent seating with both an upstairs and downstairs. WiFi also available for people using it as a work spot. I honestly think the popularity and lines have ruined the vibe a little 😅 as it’s such a serene space, that part of the enjoyment is being able to sit a bit and enjoy your matcha. There’s nothing TOO crazy that I would go out of my way just to stand in line or get it to go. Have you tried this iconic spot?
