For MONTHS my feed has been flooded with the viral French dip from Salt Hank’s and naturally I had questions 🥖. They open at 11 AM. We got there at 11:30AM and the line was already forming outside. 📍Salt Hank’s / 280 Bleecker St, New York, New York City 💵 French Dip Combo: $41 (Sandwich, Fries + Drink) 🤝🏾 Easily shareable for two We waited about 30 minutes in line but I will say the line moved fairly quick. The menu is simple. Very simple. Because they know exactly what people came for, The French dip sandwich. You can order the sandwich by itself or make it a combo with fries and a drink. I went with the combo which came out to $41. Almost immediately after we sat down, the food hit the table hot and fresh. My sister and I planned to split it and honestly that was the right move because this sandwich is stacked. Thinly shaved prime rib, melty provolone, deeply caramelized onions, and a creamy horseradish chive aioli all layered on a crusty baguette. On the side you get a cup of rich au jus that basically transforms the whole sandwich. The bread holds up perfectly, soaking up all that savory jus. The beef is juicy, the onions add a little sweetness, the cheese melts into everything
