Ellen's Stardust Diner

1650 Broadway, New York, NY 10019, USA

Manhattan

If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! Ellen's Stardust Diner is not just the most famous diner in NYC, it is arguably the most famous restaurant in NYC! It's known not just for being an old-fashioned diner, it's dinner with a show! Or breakfast with a show in my case. It doesn't matter when you go, if you go you will be treated to incredible Broadway singing, as the Ellen's Stardust Diner waitstaff are all aspiring Broadway singers. Called Stardusters, the diner is famous for employing waitstaff that sing to the customers. They perform and practice and show off the fruits of their training, hoping someday to be next door at the Broadway shows starring in a show. The performances at Ellen's Stardust Diner are already impressive enough, and that alone makes the restaurant worth visiting. But how's the food? As always, we will judge the food fairly and not at all based upon the bells and whistles! Like and Subscribe if you like my vids! CUT by Wolfgang Puck

99 Church St, New York, NY 10007, USA

Manhattan

If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! Wolfgang Puck's steakhouse is well-regarded, with two locations having Michelin stars, the CUT Beverly Hills location and the CUT Singapore location. There is a CUT in NYC, however, and I ate there about two years ago and had a pleasant experience. I remember specifically enjoying their lunch special, where I got a steak with fries, a dessert, and a delicious apple salad. CUT by Wolfgang Puck is extremely well-regarded and is often confused for Wolfgang's Steakhouse, which is not the same at all. Wolfgang's Steakhouse and Peter Luger have a connection, as Wolfgang's was founded by the former head waiter at Peter Luger Steak House. CUT by Wolfgang Puck however is Wolfgang Puck's steakhouse, and it has locations all over the world, including in Vegas, DC, Beverly Hills, and Singapore. I enjoyed it last time but how is the rest of the menu? Let's see if CUT is one of the best steakhouses in NYC! Like and Subscribe if you like my vids! Adel's Famous Halal Food

1221 6th Ave, New York, NY 10020, USA

Manhattan

If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! Adel's Famous Halal Food in NYC is hands down the most popular and the most hyped street cart in NYC. When I went a few years ago, in the very early days of this channel, it was a very long wait. At least 45 minutes. Now it is completely bananas! Now expect the waiting time at Adel's in NYC to be at least an hour and a half, if not 2 hours! It's pretty crazy. Also Adel's and Halal Guys have a connection as they are close to each other, but there is no longer a line for Halal Guys. Now it's Adel's that has the humongous hype. But is Adel's worth the hype? Has the quality declined? Is Adel's overrated now and just social media hype? I decided to find out for myself and see if Adel's is worthy of its long line. I stood out in the cold for you guys for two hours to find out. We'll see if Adel's really is worthy of being the best halal cart in NYC and deserving of its hype and lines! Golden Steer at One Fifth

1 5th Ave, New York, NY 10003, USA

Manhattan

If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! Golden Steer in Las Vegas is one of my favorite steakhouses ever. I ate there about two years ago and it was an amazing meal. I remember specifically liking the famous Golden Steer caesar salad, which I did not have tableside but I did greatly enjoy it. When I heard that Golden Steer is opening in NYC though, I knew I had to check it out ASAP! The launch was pushed back many times, going from November, to December, then January but it finally opened not long ago! I knew I had to see if Golden Steer is just as good as I remembered in Vegas! Golden Steer is famous for attracting many celebrities. Elvis and Golden Steer and Frank Sinatra and Golden Steer famously have a connection. They would frequently eat there. Nat King Cole was also a famous patron. The Vegas one is very difficult to get into, right now the NYC location is not as bad. Perhaps that won't last too long, hence why I tried to eat there ASAP before it gets packed. Golden Steer may be the best steakhouse in Vegas, but is it the best steakhouse in NYC? Let's find out! Manhattan

Check out Zocdoc and stop putting off those doctors appointments. Go to https://zocdoc.com/UAEATS to find and instantly book a top-rated doctor today. Bazaar Meat in NYC is already one of the most acclaimed steakhouses in New York, which is saying a lot as it is truly a steakhouse mecca! There are so many great steakhouses in Manhattan alone, let alone the outer boroughs. There's Keens, Gallaghers, Wolfgang's, Peter Luger, and Benjamin's steakhouse just to name a few. But despite having only been open for a few months, Bazaar Meat in NYC is already making waves! The Bazaar Meat Vegas location is perhaps the most famous one. I was originally planning a trip to Vegas to visit the Bazaar Meat Las Vegas flagship location, regarded by many as the best steakhouse in Vegas, if not the best restaurant in Vegas period. However, the New York Bazaar Meat location is the most acclaimed right now, being ranked one of the best steakhouses in the world! Yes that's right, the world! Does Bazaar Meat live up to the hype? It's quite expensive, so is it legit or is it just a tourist trap? We'll find out together! Like and Subscribe if you like my vids! If you love the channel consider supporting me o

56 Beaver St, New York, NY 10004, USA

Manhattan

Check out Zocdoc and stop putting off those doctors appointments. Go to https://zocdoc.com/UAEATS to find and instantly book a top-rated doctor today. Delmonico's in NYC is not only one of the oldest restaurants in NYC, it is one of the oldest restaurants in America! It will soon have been around for 200 years, and actually it technically has been around for 200 years if you count its existence as a pastry shop before becoming a restaurant. However, Delmonico's is not just one of the oldest steakhouses in America, it is also one of the best steakhouses in NYC and one of the best steakhouses in America overall I would argue! Arguably the world too. Many dishes were invented at Delmonico's. The list goes on and on. It includes wedge salad, eggs benedict, chicken a la king, and of course, the Delmonico steak. The delmonico steak, aka a boneless ribeye, was invented at Delmonico's and still bears its name today. Delmonico's also invented the baked alaska, an incredible dessert and quickly becoming one of my favorites! Delmonico's may be the oldest steakhouse in America, but is it still one of the best? If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! NYC's Peter Luger, or more specifically Brooklyn's Peter Luger, is not only one of the most famous steakhouses in NYC, if not one of the most famous steakhouses in America, it is arguably one of the most famous restaurants in the world! Even if you're not from the NYC area and don't know all the best steakhouses in NYC, it's likely you have heard of Peter Luger if you follow famous American restaurants in general. The Brooklyn Peter Luger location is an icon and, regardless of how you feel about the food, there's no denying eating there is a neat experience due to its history and vibe! And speaking of which, indeed Peter Luger has faced mixed reviews in recent years. For 100 years, Peter Luger was considered the best steak in NYC, or definitely up there at least! But now? Many believe Peter Luger is overrated or Peter Luger is a tourist trap. I have eaten there twice however. The first time? Around 2021, I believed it was overrated. Second time? Much improved! Semma

60 Greenwich Ave, New York, NY 10011, USA

Manhattan

If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! Semma in NYC is one of the most hyped Indian restaurants in New York City. However, it's not just one of the best Indian Restaurants in New York, it's also one of the best restaurants in New York period! At least, according to the New York Times, Semma was named the No. 1 restaurant in NYC, out of any restaurant! Higher than some globally acclaimed restaurants like Le Bernardin. I knew I had to try it, especially as many Indian people I know have suggested it to me. I heard all about the Semma gunpowder dosa, so I couldn't wait to give it a go! I ordered not only the gunpowder dosa, but also the paniyaram and the lamb chops. Very delicious stuff! Semma is a south Indian restaurant in NYC, and it's different from what many people think of as Indian food in the west, like butter chicken and chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken etc. All those buffet-style foods are North Indian foods. But Semma specializes in South Indian food and that style is quickly becoming trendy! Hope you enjoy this vid! Like and Subscribe if you like my vids! Mendy's NYC

441 Park Ave S, New York, NY 10016, USA

Manhattan

If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! Mendy's in NYC is one of the most underrated Jewish delis in NYC. It's biggest claim to fame though is for being referenced in Seinfeld. The Seinfeld Mendy's episode I say more so referenced Mendy's, rather than portrayed it, as it was portrayed as a fine dining sit-down restaurant rather than a takeout Jewish deli. Still, Mendy's is far from just a Seinfeld restaurant. It's actually one of the top delis in NYC in my opinion! We tried a few items from Mendy's, such as brisket on rye, pastrami on rye, and of course, the Mendy's soup. It's all about that soup right? As Jerry claimed a soup is not a meal, so I needed to see for myself if soup is a meal at Mendy's. This restaurant may be mentioned primarily alongside Seinfeld, but I do believe it is one of the best Jewish delis in Manhattan, if not one of the best Jewish delis in New York in general, and I can't wait to bring you all along! Barney Greengrass

541 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10024, USA

Manhattan

If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! When it comes to the best Jewish delis in NYC, one spot is consistently on every single list. Barney Greengrass in the Upper West Side. Also known as The Sturgeon King, Barney Greengrass boasts tons of staples beyond just your standard Jewish deli foods, like pastrami sandwiches, corned beef, brisket, and matzoh ball soup. Barney Greengrass's smoked fish is legendary and the Barney Greengrass smoked sturgeon sandwich is especially legendary! Although the Barney Greengrass nova lox is pretty good too. I always wanted to try this place, and I decided to just go ahead and do it the other day! So I hit up Barney Greengrass in the Upper West Side of Manhattan for some of the best Jewish deli food I've had. It's amazing that after 100 years, this old school Jewish Deli in New York hasn't changed anything and is still slinging the same stuff and it's better than most food I've had! THE GRILL

Seagram Building, 99 E 52nd St, New York, NY 10022, USA

Manhattan

If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! While NYC has always been a mecca for steak, with so many great steakhouses and the best steakhouse in New York City being totally a matter of opinion, nowadays the most hyped steakhouse in New York is hands down The Grill. I have been seeing so many reviews of The Grill social media, not just YouTube but also other platforms like TikTok and Instagram, and many of you have asked me to review it. It wasn't cheap, but I headed over to The Grill in Manhattan to check it out! The Grill in the Seagram Building, a New York landmark and icon, is a historically protected landmark at this point! The City of New York decided to preserve the inside of the restaurant due to its history and cultural importance. However, while history and cultural importance is great and all, I'm most interested in the food. And many say The Grill is hands down the best steakhouse in NYC right now, not just the most expensive. Let's see if it's worth the hype or just pricey and a fancy vibe! Russ & Daughters

179 E Houston St, New York, NY 10002, USA

Manhattan

If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! While Katz's Deli in NYC is the most famous Jewish restaurant in NYC, if not the most famous Jewish restaurant in the world, another place that is also world famous, yet not quite on Katz's level, is Russ & Daughters. Russ & Daughters is not a deli, so unlike Katz's it does not specialize in pastrami and corned beef. However, Russ and Daughters is an appetizing store, meaning it specializes in fish, particularly fish that goes on top of bagels. We tried some of the most famous items, such as the Russ & Daughters bagels and lox, particularly the Russ & Daughters belly lox. We also tried to smoked sturgeon as well, as well as a potato latke. Since they are down the street from one another, it is natural to compare Katz's Deli vs Russ & Daughters. However, one sells fish and the other sells meat, and the two are more so complementary, since in kosher law mixing fish and meat is forbidden. Is Russ & Daughters worth the hype? We'll find out! American Cut

363 Greenwich St, New York, NY 10013, USA

Manhattan

If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! American Cut is one of the most hyped steakhouses in NYC right now. However, not only is it regarded as one of the best steakhouses in NYC, it is also one of the best steakhouses in the world apparently! At least according to the annual World's Best steakhouses ranking, which is a listing of the top 101 Best Steakhouses in the World, which is put out by a magazine every year. Now obviously, just because some magazine thinks that doesn't mean it's gospel obviously. Everyone has their biases, including Michelin Guide, and you know that I'm leery of steak rankings and food rankings in general. However, this place is acclaimed and American Cut is popular with a fancy crowd, which makes sense as it's in Tribeca near all the celebrities and rich New Yorkers. We tried the iconic American Cut pastrami ribeye, as well as its wagyu, to see if American Cut is worth the hype or just overrated hype at this point. After all, just because it's on a ranking doesn't mean it's that great! It's all subjective. Like and Subscribe if you like my vids! Check out Zocdoc and stop putting off those doctors appointments. Go to https://zocdoc.com/UAEATS to find and instantly book a top-rated doctor today. 7th Street Burger in NYC is one of the most hyped burgers spots in NYC, and it's definitely the most hyped burger chain in NYC now! The owner said he wanted 7th Street Burger and In-N-Out to be synonymous, only 7th Street Burger would be the In-N-Out of the East Coast. I don't think In-N-Out is that great so I don't think that's hard to do, but I see what he's saying. He wants it to be NYC's most iconic burger, if not NYC's best burger or the East Coast's best burger. Is 7th Street Burger worth the hype though? Or is it just being overhyped on social media? We'll find out together! 7th street burger's menu is incredibly small, they literally just sell cheeseburgers, double cheeseburgers, fries, and drinks and that's pretty much it! I love it. Broad Nosh Bagels Deli & Catering

2350 Broadway, New York, NY 10024, USA

Manhattan

If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! Carnegie Deli in NYC was one of NYC's most iconic Jewish delis. The frequent topic of debate was Katz's vs Carnegie Deli, and everyone had an opinion. Sadly though, Carnegie Deli closed in 2016, at least its main location. There is still a Carnegie Deli Madison Square Garden location, but reviews are extremely mixed and that also requires spending like $100 on a Knicks game ticket for what I hear is now a mediocre sandwich. You can also get Carnegie Deli's meat online and also at some Costco locations, but I feel that's not the same. However, things have changed! Broad Nosh Bagels in NYC now carries Carnegie Deli sandwiches. And it's legit, the meat comes completely ready and they keep it steamed and just slice it. Broad Nosh Carnegie Deli sandwiches are now the main place where ordinary people can get an authentic Carnegie Deli sandwich. I knew I had to try it! Now we will see, is Carnegie Deli worth the hype? If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats! While everyone has heard of Peter Luger, not just in NYC, but around the country and even around the world, not many people think of Wolfgang's steakhouse as one of NYC's best steakhouses. But it is! Wolfgang's steakhouse regularly makes lists of best steak in NYC and it was notably founded by Wolfgang Zwiener, headwaiter at Peter Luger for decades, before he went and founded his own steakhouse and really recreated Peter Luger in many ways. This was a really unique video, as it's my second time reviewing Wolfgang's steakhouse. I figured I'd reach out this time, in a really rare moment on UA Eats (I usually just walk in unannounced), since the staff there recognize me at this point. If you love the channel consider supporting me on Patreon at Patreon.com/UAEats Tokyo's legendary Pizza Studio Tamaki, also called Pizza PST, has opened in NYC, and as things tend to be in NYC the hype is unbelievable. Getting a reservation is near impossible, with hardly any open tables for the next few weeks. Pizza PST is known for being one of the best Tokyo style Neapolitan pizza places around, which I learned at this restaurant is a unique style of making a Neapolitan pizza. Is Pizza Studio Tamaki in NYC one of the best Neapolitan Pizzas in NYC? And beyond that is it one of the best pizza spots in NYC period? After all, the hype is unbelievable and they are not cheap. Each pie is about $30, which is on the high end for a Neapolitan pizza. When we filmed this review, the owner Chef Tamaki was even in NYC in person to supervise the opening of the restaurant. Similarly to The Corner Store, Taylor Swift ate at The Eighty Six as well, several times! With Travis Kelce and with her family. And if The Corner Store is any indication, I think I'm in for a good time at The Eighty Six.
